We are excited to invite you to our UCAN2 – Uniting Communities & Networking Together, Empowering All Abilities in Bocce through our Open Training Evenings.
This new program by Bocce Victoria was created to give teens and adults the chance to try something different – a sport that is fun, inclusive, low-impact, and welcoming to all. Whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or work towards a goal, bocce is a sport where everyone belongs. You can play socially, enjoy casual competition, or aim to represent your state or even Australia one day.
The UCAN2 program came to life through the support of the Federal Government’s Play Our Way grant. It began as an initiative to create new opportunities in sport for those who may not have always felt included. From that foundation, it has grown into a program that embraces all abilities, ages, and backgrounds.
Our Sports Development Coach, Philippe DeSousa (visiting from France), along with our Community Engagement Team, lead engaging training sessions filled with movement, laughter, and connection. The sessions include fun circuit-style training and skill-building activities, designed especially for beginners — no equipment or experience required!
